calculate cross section of producing higgs at rest

Asked by Riju

I want to calculate cross section for producing higgs at rest for e- e+ > ve ve~ h process.I want to set center of mass energy=500GeV.Please tell me how I should proceed?

You can change the center of mass of the collision in the run_card.dat

Can I get the cross section of producing higgs at rest with same center of mass energy?

It should be trivially zero no?
to check i have put a maximum energy of the Higgs
with 126 the cross-section is 2.7e-4 pb (beam energy is 50GeV perbeam)
with 125.1 the cross-section is 8.584e-06
with 125.01 the cross-section is 2.577e-07

Sorry,I made wrong comment.I wanted to ask can I calculate cross section for producing higgs particle at rest with center of energy 500GeV for this process?

So you want the process e- e+ > ve ve~ h
But want the momenta of the Higgs to be (0 0 0)
therefore the energy of the Higgs will be exactly 125.
And therefore my previous answer holds.

But maybe I do not understand your question.
